先日は兵庫県で活動されている陶芸家 西岡 英里奈さんの工房へ。制作工程を撮影させて頂きました!

8/1(土)より当店にてPOPUPを開催させて頂きます!!

初日の8/1は作家の西岡さんが在廊してくださいます。

タイミング合いましたら作品のことなど色々お話されてくださいね。

色彩豊かで遊び心あふれる西岡さんの作品。

ろくろを使わず、一つひとつ手で形を作る「手びねり」という技法を用いることで、温かみのある凹凸や、手に馴染む独特の質感が生まれています。

ガス窯による還元焼成という方法で焼くため、鮮やかな色彩ながらも、通常とは異なる味わい深い色味になります。

色味を調整しながら、ムラがでないように色を重ねてゆきます。

おもわず触れたくなる質感とモチーフの西岡さんの作品。

8月1日（土）から23日（日）まで開催されるろにせらPOPUPにて、唯一無二の作品たちをぜひご覧くださいませ。

2015 大阪芸術大学附属大阪美術専門学校

　　　 総合デザイン学科　イラストレーション専攻　卒業

2020 京都府立陶工高等技術専門校《愛称　京都陶芸大学校》

 やきもの成形科　基礎コース　修了

2020 丹波篠山に移住　馬川祐輔氏に師事

2024 独立　丹波篠山にて作陶

◆制作への想い

手びねりで一つひとつ形をつくり、素焼き後にベン柄を塗って拭き取り、絵の具や釉薬を筆で塗り分けながら制作しています。

凹凸や質感、色の重なりや組み合わせを大切にしながら、自分自身が心惹かれる作品を追求しています。

手に取ってくださる方の日常に寄り添う、お気に入りの一点となれば幸いです。

Erina Nishioka

1993-Born in Osaka, Japan

2015-Graduated from the Illustration Program, Department of Integrated Design, Osaka College of Art

2020-Completed the Foundation Course in Ceramic Forming at the Kyoto Prefectural Ceramics Technical School (also known as Kyoto Ceramic Art School)

2020-Relocated to Tamba-Sasayama and apprenticed under ceramic artist Yusuke Umakawa

2024-Established an independent studio and is currently creating ceramic works in Tamba-Sasayama

Each piece is hand-built individually. After the first firing, bengara (iron-oxide pigment) is applied and carefully wiped back before layers of pigments and glazes are painted on by hand.

By emphasizing texture, relief, and the interplay of colors and surfaces, I strive to create works that genuinely resonate with me.

I hope each piece becomes a cherished companion in the everyday life of the person who brings it home.
