◆作陶への思い
京都の東山五条にて、父である壹楽窯二代目の元、京焼・清水焼の伝統技法を学び修行中。
その歴史を大切にしながらも、現代の暮らし、自分らしさを器に落とし込むことを追求しています。
作陶のコンセプトは、「視覚と触覚から癒しを届ける器作り」です。
鮮やかな釉薬は、主役である料理を更に引き立て、出番を待つ食器棚の中でもふと目が合うたびに心へ彩りを与えてくれます。
また手にした時の軽さと、肌に吸い付くような質感。
手仕事にしか表せないその温かみが、日常に一番近い場所でそっと寄り添い続けることを願っています。
忙しい時代だからこそ、眺めるだけで心が落ち着き、触れることでホッとするそんな心の余白を作れる器をお届けできたら嬉しいです。

Biography
1994-Born in Kyoto, Japan
2017-Completed the Ceramics Course at the Kyoto Municipal Institute of Industrial Technology and Culture
2020-Selected for the Kanpai de Iwau Sakazuki (Celebratory Sake Cup) Competition
2023-Completed the Advanced Ceramics Course at the Kyoto Municipal Institute of Industrial Technology and Culture
2023-Began an apprenticeship under Ichiraku II, the second-generation head of Ichiraku Kiln
Artist Statement
Based in Kyoto's Higashiyama-Gojo district, I am training under my father, the second-generation master of Ichiraku Kiln, learning the traditional techniques of Kyo-yaki and Kiyomizu-yaki ceramics.
While respecting these long-established traditions, I strive to create vessels that reflect contemporary living and my own artistic identity.
My guiding concept is "creating vessels that bring comfort through both sight and touch."
The vibrant glazes are designed to enhance the beauty of the food they hold, while also adding a touch of color and delight whenever they catch your eye, even while waiting on the shelf.
I also place great importance on the lightness of each piece and its smooth, almost skin-like texture in the hand. I hope that the warmth unique to handmade ceramics will quietly accompany everyday life in the places closest to us.
In today's busy world, I would be delighted if my work could offer moments of calm—pieces that soothe simply by being seen and bring comfort through the experience of touch.
